After two-hour drive, you will be able to discover Nafplio, a romantic city of great history. You can explore Palamidi fortress, which was built by Venetians in 1686. Climbing up 900 plus steps to the top of this historic fortress is worth the stunning view. You can also visit the Bourtzi Fortress, the Venetian fortress that seems to float in the middle of the sea, by taking a taxi boat. Or you can simply admire the old buildings of the town, dating back two hundred or so years.
